Regional Deep Tissue Hyperthermia
Thermofield® Technology
Our offerings include consideration of Thermofield regional deep tissue heating, which uses externally applied radiofrequency energy to warm selected tissues. Treatment settings depend on the applicator, anatomy, and intended application.
We discuss the proposed role in pelvic comfort and local circulation before treatment. Improvements in vaginal lubrication, tissue tightness, pelvic floor strength, urinary leakage, or sexual response should not be assumed, and external heating is not equivalent to pelvic floor rehabilitation.
Treatment Schedule & Monitoring
The OWM protocol described for this service consists of two 30-minute sessions per week for four weeks, totaling eight sessions. Maintenance may be considered every three to six months according to clinical review and response.
Temperature monitoring helps manage heat exposure but does not eliminate the possibility of discomfort, burns, or tissue injury. Energy-transfer and cost comparisons with other devices do not establish better clinical outcomes.
Hormonal & Vaginal Tissue Care
Local Estrogen Treatment
Lower estrogen levels can contribute to vaginal dryness, irritation, and discomfort, particularly around menopause and during certain postpartum or breastfeeding stages. When appropriate, local vaginal estrogen can improve symptoms and support the vaginal lining.
We discuss available formulations and select treatment according to your needs, medical history, and preferences. Compounded preparations require separate consideration of quality and dosing; FDA-approved options are generally preferred when suitable.
Broader Hormone Assessment
Progesterone or testosterone may be considered for a specific clinical indication rather than prescribed automatically for pelvic symptoms. We review expected benefits, limitations, and risks within your overall care plan.
Symptoms, history, examination, and appropriate testing guide these decisions. Genetic screening and DUTCH metabolite testing do not independently establish safe hormone processing or determine the correct dose.
Nerve & Tissue Hydrodissection
For selected nerve-related symptoms, we may evaluate whether mechanical restriction contributes to pelvic, lower abdominal, or groin pain. Possible concerns include symptoms following surgery or injury and suspected peripheral nerve entrapment.
Using real-time ultrasound, we guide a fine needle toward the selected tissue plane and introduce fluid to create separation around the nerve or between adjacent tissues. The aim is to reduce restriction; pain relief and recovery of nerve function vary.
Preparations Discussed Within Our Protocols
- Dilute dextrose, an option studied for selected peripheral nerve injections.
- BPC-157 and thymosin beta-4, which require separate review of evidence, regulatory status, and risks.
- Medical ozone, with its proposed role and administration assessed independently.
- Placenta matrix, a donor-derived preparation requiring product-specific and regulatory review.
Evidence from hydrodissection studies at other sites does not establish effectiveness for pudendal neuralgia or every form of pelvic pain. Adding a substance also introduces considerations beyond the fluid-separation technique.
Nutrition & Digestive Support
Estrogen Metabolism Formulations
Products such as CDG EstroDIM or EstroDIM may be discussed for their proposed effects on estrogen metabolism. We review ingredients, medication interactions, and clinical relevance without presenting them as proven treatments for vaginal or pelvic symptoms.
Digestive Assessment
Constipation, bloating, and other digestive concerns may coexist with pelvic discomfort. When indicated, we assess symptoms and consider targeted testing, nutrition guidance, and treatment for an identified gastrointestinal condition.
A digestive diagnosis does not automatically explain pelvic pain, so assessment considers other possible causes alongside gut health.
Personalized Planning & Follow-Up
We review your symptoms, menstrual or menopausal stage, medications, previous procedures, and treatment goals before recommending care. Persistent pain, urinary leakage, or discomfort with intimacy may warrant pelvic floor assessment or specialist evaluation.
Follow-up focuses on comfort, urinary symptoms, sexual well-being, and daily function. We explain each proposed treatment’s evidence, alternatives, and potential risks so that your plan reflects your priorities and clinical needs.
