Hormone Assessment & Testosterone Care
Individualized Testosterone Treatment
Testosterone replacement may be appropriate when symptoms are accompanied by consistently low testosterone levels. In appropriately selected patients, treatment may improve sexual symptoms, lean mass, and bone density, while effects on energy, mood, and cognition vary.
We assess possible causes of testosterone deficiency rather than treating an isolated laboratory result.
Testing & Safety Review
Assessment generally includes repeat morning blood testosterone measurements and additional testing as indicated. We review blood counts, prostate considerations, cardiovascular history, sleep apnea, and fertility goals.
Selected genetic, DUTCH, or ZRT testing may provide additional information, but does not independently establish that testosterone treatment is necessary or safe. Testosterone can suppress sperm production, making fertility planning an important part of the consultation.
Administration & Follow-Up
Options may include topical preparations or prescribed injections. When home administration is appropriate, we provide instruction on technique, handling, and precautions.
Follow-up testing is typically planned every three to six months, with earlier review when needed. We monitor symptoms, hormone levels, blood counts, and other relevant safety measures. Compounded formulations require separate consideration of quality and dosing; plant origin does not make a hormone inherently safer.
Prostate Health & Sexual Wellness
Prostate & Urinary Assessment
Changes in urinary flow, frequency, or pelvic comfort require evaluation to identify the cause. Benign prostatic enlargement, inflammation, infection, and other conditions have different treatment needs, and urological assessment may be recommended.
Thermofield® Regional Hyperthermia
Our broader offerings include Thermofield radiofrequency heating for selected applications. We explain the proposed protocol and its evidence before consideration, without presenting external deep-tissue heating as an established treatment for BPH or erectile dysfunction.
Prostate-Supportive Supplements
Preparations such as Prostatrol Forte may be discussed following a review of ingredients, medications, and clinical needs. Supplements complement appropriate evaluation rather than replacing treatment for urinary symptoms.
Erectile & Vascular Health
We consider hormonal, vascular, neurological, medication-related, and psychological contributors to erectile concerns. Any proposed heat, infusion, or oxygen-based therapy is assessed separately from established erectile dysfunction treatments.
Metabolic Testing & Nutrition
Resting Metabolic Rate Testing
Indirect calorimetry estimates resting energy expenditure and provides information about fuel utilization under the testing conditions, helping guide nutrition planning.
VO₂ Max Testing
Exercise testing measures oxygen uptake to assess cardiorespiratory fitness and inform appropriate training intensity.
InBody Composition Analysis
InBody estimates muscle mass, body fat, and fluid distribution. Depending on the device, it may also provide an estimate of visceral fat, with consistent testing conditions important for monitoring change.
Nutrition Genome DNA Testing
Genetic findings are considered alongside dietary intake and clinical information to guide recommendations. They do not determine one ideal macronutrient ratio or demonstrate that a plan switches disease pathways off.
Biosense & Cronometer
Biosense breath ketone monitoring and Cronometer nutrition tracking may be incorporated into selected dietary plans. We use these tools to understand patterns and make practical adjustments, rather than treating their readings as direct measures of metabolic health.
Medications & Peptide-Based Approaches
Semaglutide & Tirzepatide
Approved formulations may be considered for their indicated conditions, with ongoing monitoring and support for nutrition, resistance exercise, and lean mass preservation.
Retatrutide, Cagrilintide & AOD-9604
These compounds require distinct consideration of evidence and regulatory status. Retatrutide and cagrilintide remain investigational and cannot be used in compounding under federal law. AOD-9604 is not an established weight-loss treatment.
Tesamorelin
Tesamorelin has a specific approved indication for excess abdominal fat in adults with HIV-associated lipodystrophy. It is not a general weight-management medication.
MOTS-C & SS-31
MOTS-C remains investigational. SS-31, also called elamipretide, has an approved formulation for a specific Barth syndrome indication; this does not establish benefits for general metabolic flexibility or energy enhancement.
CJC-1295 & Ipamorelin
These compounds influence growth hormone signaling. Their proposed use requires separate clinical and regulatory review, as improved exercise performance, recovery, or tissue repair is not established.
Infusions & Related Injections
Slim Down IV & Slim Shot
Depending on the formulation, these preparations may contain vitamin C, taurine, methionine, inositol, choline, B vitamins, L-carnitine, and chromium. We review suitability individually, without presenting them as proven methods of increasing resting metabolism or fat loss.
Libido Boost IV
This formulation includes vitamin C, arginine, B vitamins, and selected amino acids. We assess its proposed role within a broader sexual health plan rather than assuming it treats erectile dysfunction.
IV NAD+ & Subcutaneous NAD
NAD+ participates in cellular energy metabolism. Evidence for improved stamina, cognition, or cellular repair through these administration routes remains limited.
Plaquex® IV Therapy
Plaquex is a phosphatidylcholine-based infusion discussed within selected protocols. It should not be presented as a proven method of dissolving arterial plaque or replacing established cardiovascular risk management.
Oxygen & Recovery Modalities
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Our 2.0 ATA hard-shell chamber delivers oxygen in a pressurized environment. We assess the indication and potential risks separately, without assuming benefits for testosterone levels, erectile function, or cardiovascular health.
Human Regenerator Jet Bed
This cold atmospheric plasma modality is included within our wellness offerings. Proposed effects on oxidative stress, nervous system balance, testosterone, and athletic recovery require further clinical validation.
Ongoing Care
We review progress through symptoms, relevant laboratory markers, body composition, fitness, and daily function. Your plan evolves with your response, keeping appropriate medical treatment, nutrition, movement, and sleep central to care.
