Metabolic & Cellular Health
Nutrition and glucose regulation
We consider eating patterns, blood sugar regulation, body composition, and nutritional adequacy when evaluating metabolic health. Selected plans may include ketogenic nutrition or the ProLon® fasting-mimicking diet when appropriate.
These approaches have different purposes and requirements. They should not be understood as proven methods of selectively starving cancer cells, and dietary restriction requires particular care during cancer treatment or when nutritional status is compromised.
Cellular energy
Mitochondria participate in cellular energy production. Our described options include NAD+, alpha-lipoic acid, CoQ10, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and ozone-based procedures.
We assess each intervention separately for its intended role, evidence, and risks. A proposed effect on mitochondrial activity does not establish improved energy, tissue repair, or disease outcomes in every patient.
Immune Function & Inflammation
Understanding immune health
We review factors that may affect immune function, including medical conditions, medications, nutrition, and treatment history. The aim is to identify relevant clinical needs rather than assume that greater immune activity is always beneficial.
Selected complementary therapies
OWM’s terrain framework includes consideration of mistletoe, total-body hyperthermia, and Human Regenerator sessions. These services differ in their evidence and intended use.
Laboratory findings involving immune cells or inflammatory signaling do not establish that a treatment prevents cancer, maintains remission, or restores damaged tissue. We explain these distinctions when discussing care.
Gut & Microbiome Health
Digestive function
The intestinal tract has an important relationship with immune function and nutrient absorption. We assess symptoms, dietary tolerance, and relevant conditions before recommending treatment.
Individualized microbiome care
Recommendations may include dietary changes, selected probiotics, or other preparations for a defined purpose. Their role depends on the diagnosis and formulation rather than a universal goal of “resetting” the microbiome.
Rebyota® has a specific approved use in preventing recurrent C. diff after antibiotic treatment in eligible adults. It is not an established general treatment for immune resilience or systemic inflammation.
Preparation for Tissue-Based Care
Assessment before a procedure
Before PRP or another tissue-based intervention, we consider your medical history, medications, nutritional needs, and factors that may influence recovery.
Additional treatment options
OWM’s described protocols may include a three-day infusion package, photobiomodulation, or selected peptide preparations. These additions require their own assessment and should not be presented as proven methods of increasing cell vitality or improving regenerative outcomes.
We explain the proposed components, their regulatory status, and available alternatives before treatment.
Stress, Sleep & Hormonal Health
The relationship between stress and symptoms
Stress can affect sleep, daily habits, and the experience of discomfort. We consider these influences alongside medical contributors, without attributing every symptom to nervous-system imbalance.
Mind-body support
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Muse-assisted meditation may help develop practical skills for attention, relaxation, and coping. Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy requires a separate medical and mental health assessment and is considered only for appropriate patients.
Our Approach
We begin with your health history, current concerns, and priorities. Examination and testing are selected to answer specific questions, and recommendations are reviewed over time according to your response.
The terrain perspective connects different aspects of your care while keeping diagnosis-specific treatment central. In cancer care, it complements oncology treatment and surveillance; it does not replace them or guarantee prevention of recurrence.
