Detox Shot

The Detox Shot is an intramuscular injection offered within OWM Integrative Wellness’s Revitalizing Health Shots menu. It combines selected nutrients and other ingredients in a brief appointment, with suitability considered according to your health history, medications, and individual needs.

We begin by understanding what you hope to address and discussing the preparation’s intended role within your care.

Understanding the Formula

What it contains
OWM’s listed formulation includes:

  • B vitamins and folinic acid
  • Methionine, inositol, and choline
  • Glutathione
  • Lymphomyosot
  • Procaine

These ingredients have different biological roles and safety considerations. We review the current formulation and explain its components before administration.

The meaning of detoxification
Your liver, kidneys, and gastrointestinal tract already perform essential functions that process and eliminate waste. Nutritional adequacy contributes to normal body function, but the presence of nutrients in an injection does not establish that it accelerates toxin removal.

“Detox Shot” is the name of this preparation. It should not be understood as a proven treatment for heavy-metal exposure, mold-related illness, infection, or liver disease.

Our Approach

Individual suitability
We review relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, and supplements to determine whether the injection is appropriate. This includes considering every ingredient rather than assuming that a vitamin-containing preparation is suitable for everyone.

Clear treatment expectations
We explain the purpose of the proposed injection, the limitations of the evidence, and alternatives relevant to your goals. Persistent fatigue or other ongoing symptoms may warrant further evaluation rather than repeated wellness injections.

Care in context
When appropriate, your plan may also include nutrition guidance or treatment for an identified deficiency. Other injections and infusions are considered separately, according to their specific ingredients and clinical purpose.

The Experience

The preparation is administered into a muscle during a short clinical appointment. Our team explains the process, attends to your comfort, and provides any relevant aftercare instructions.

Temporary tenderness, redness, or bruising may occur at the injection site. Other risks include infection and reactions to individual ingredients, including potentially serious allergic reactions. We discuss these considerations before treatment.

The need for additional appointments is determined individually, with attention to your response and the reason for treatment.
