Fitness and Longevity Planning

Men’s Fitness & Longevity Planning at OWM Integrative Wellness combines medical assessment, performance testing, nutrition, and physical care within an individualized plan. We consider cardiovascular fitness, metabolic health, hormonal symptoms, cognition, and joint function together, helping you identify priorities for maintaining an active life.

Your plan begins with relevant benchmarks and develops through ongoing review, with recommendations shaped by your health history, current abilities, and long-term goals.

Diagnostic & Performance Assessment

VO₂ Max Testing
Testing during treadmill or bicycle exercise measures oxygen uptake to assess cardiorespiratory fitness. We use the results to guide training intensity and monitor conditioning, recognizing that fitness is one component of long-term health rather than a prediction of individual lifespan.

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing
RMR testing uses indirect calorimetry to estimate resting energy expenditure and assess fuel utilization under the testing conditions. These findings help inform nutrition recommendations alongside your activity level and body composition.

InBody Composition Analysis
InBody estimates muscle mass, body fat, and fluid distribution. Depending on the device, it may also provide a visceral fat estimate. Repeated assessments under consistent conditions help us monitor changes beyond scale weight.

Nutrition Genome DNA Testing
We consider genetic variants associated with nutrient metabolism alongside your diet, laboratory findings, and medical history. Results may inform recommendations but do not identify one precise diet or establish that a plan switches disease pathways off.

Biological Clock Testing
DNA methylation testing estimates biological age relative to chronological age. It may provide an additional reference point for monitoring, although a change in the estimate does not independently demonstrate increased longevity.

Prenuvo Whole-Body MRI
Prenuvo provides anatomical imaging of major organ systems without ionizing radiation or intravenous contrast. Findings are reviewed in context, with further evaluation when indicated. Whole-body MRI complements appropriate care rather than replacing established screening.

ViewMind Cognitive Assessment
ViewMind uses eye tracking during structured headset-based tasks to assess aspects of processing speed, memory, attention, and executive function. We may use it to establish a baseline and inform follow-up, alongside your symptoms and broader clinical assessment.

Hormonal & Metabolic Care

Testosterone Assessment & Treatment
When symptoms suggest testosterone deficiency, we investigate possible causes and confirm findings with appropriate blood testing. Replacement may benefit selected patients with consistently low levels, including improvements in sexual symptoms, lean mass, and bone density.

Treatment is not prescribed solely to enhance athletic performance or prevent cardiovascular disease. We review fertility goals, blood counts, prostate considerations, sleep apnea, and other relevant risks. Genetic or DUTCH testing does not independently establish treatment safety.

Weight-Management Medications
Approved formulations of semaglutide or tirzepatide may be considered for their indicated conditions, with nutrition guidance, resistance exercise, and clinical monitoring incorporated into care.

Retatrutide and cagrilintide are investigational compounds rather than routine alternatives; FDA states that they cannot be used in compounding under federal law.

Growth Hormone & Mitochondrial Peptides
Our broader protocols may discuss CJC-1295, ipamorelin, MOTS-C, and SS-31. Each requires separate consideration of evidence, regulatory status, and risks.

Improved recovery or performance from CJC-1295, ipamorelin, or MOTS-C has not been established. SS-31, also called elamipretide, has an approved formulation for a specific Barth syndrome indication, which does not establish general fitness or longevity benefits.

Infusions & Cellular Support

IV administration bypasses digestive absorption and delivers ingredients directly into the bloodstream. It does not guarantee cellular uptake or correction of an underlying metabolic concern.

IV NAD+ & Subcutaneous NAD
NAD+ participates in cellular energy metabolism. We explain the proposed role and limited evidence for improvements in stamina, cognition, or recovery through these administration routes.

Plaquex® IV Therapy
Plaquex is a phosphatidylcholine-based infusion described within selected protocols. It should not be presented as a proven method of dissolving arterial plaque or calcium, lowering coronary calcium scores, or replacing established cardiovascular treatment.

Slim Down IV & Slim Shot
These formulations may include vitamin C, taurine, methionine, inositol, choline, B vitamins, and chromium. We assess suitability individually, without assuming that treatment increases resting metabolism or produces fat loss.

Spermidine & CoQ10 Infusions
These compounds are studied for roles in cellular maintenance and mitochondrial function. Their biological activity does not establish that IV administration improves exercise performance, cardiovascular outcomes, or longevity.

Weber Endo Laser & Helmet Photobiomodulation
Selected protocols may include intravenous fiberoptic light delivery or external helmet PBM. These are distinct applications, with their evidence and suitability reviewed separately. Combining light therapy with an infusion does not establish enhanced nutrient uptake or clinical benefit.

Oxygen, Heat & Recovery Modalities

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Our 2.0 ATA hard-shell chamber delivers oxygen in a pressurized environment. We evaluate the proposed indication and risks rather than assuming benefits for athletic recovery, erectile function, stem cell mobilization, or telomere lengthening.

Human Regenerator Jet Bed
This cold atmospheric plasma modality is included within our wellness offerings. Proposed effects on oxidative stress, nervous system balance, and physical recovery require further clinical validation.

Total Body Hyperthermia
Total body hyperthermia is a medically supervised heat-based intervention. We review cardiovascular health, hydration, medications, and heat tolerance before consideration.

The protocol described by OWM targets an elevated core temperature around 103°F, with treatment parameters individualized and closely monitored. Heat exposure should not be described as deep cellular detoxification.

Joint Function & Movement

Orthopedic Assessment & Treatment
Our evaluation considers the joint and its supporting ligaments, tendons, and capsule. Hackett-Hemwall principles may inform selected injection plans, with ultrasound used to guide placement where appropriate.

Options discussed may include PRP, SuperShot® PRP, dextrose prolotherapy, selected cellular preparations, or Tenex percutaneous tenotomy. Each has a distinct purpose: Tenex removes selected damaged tendon tissue, while injection-based approaches aim to influence symptoms or local tissue responses.

Treatment does not guarantee cartilage regeneration or avoidance of surgery. Recommendations are guided by the diagnosis, evidence, and alternatives.

Biomechanical Movement Screens
Individualized assessment with a biomechanical movement specialist helps identify movement limitations and guide recommendations for mobility, strength, and activity. We coordinate these recommendations with rehabilitation and medical care when needed.

Ongoing Planning & Membership

Selected diagnostics and services may be incorporated into our Optimal Life Concierge Annual Membership. We establish clear priorities and review progress through relevant laboratory markers, fitness, body composition, symptoms, and daily function.

Nutrition, resistance and cardiovascular exercise, sleep, and appropriate preventive care remain central to your plan, with additional therapies considered according to their clinical role.
