Integrative Cancer Remission Programs

Cancer Remission Care at OWM Integrative Wellness brings together ongoing health assessment, nutritional guidance, selected supportive therapies, and personal advocacy following active cancer treatment.

Our approach considers the broader conditions that influence your well-being, including metabolic health, digestive function, sleep, stress, and recovery. We use the term “terrain” to describe this whole-body perspective, with care coordinated alongside your oncology team’s surveillance and treatment recommendations.

Monitoring & Assessment

Specialized blood testing
Our program may incorporate DATAR liquid biopsy testing to explore cancer-related signals in the blood. We discuss the specific test’s intended use, evidence, and limitations before recommending it. These results do not replace standard oncology surveillance or independently confirm that cancer is absent.

Breast imaging
We offer SonoCiné® automated whole-breast ultrasound as supplemental imaging when appropriate, including for patients with dense breast tissue. The examination uses sound waves without ionizing radiation or intravenous contrast and complements recommended mammography and other breast imaging.

Whole-body imaging
Prenuvo whole-body MRI may be discussed according to your history and clinical needs. It provides imaging without ionizing radiation, but its suitability and limitations require individual consideration alongside cancer-specific follow-up.

Nutrition-focused genetic testing
Nutrition Genome testing may inform conversations about dietary and nutrient needs. We consider findings alongside your symptoms, medical history, and other assessments rather than treating genetic results as instructions that switch cancer pathways on or off.

Whole-Body Support

Mistletoe therapy
Mistletoe preparations contain biologically active compounds that have been studied in complementary cancer care. If considered, we review the preparation, intended purpose, available evidence, and potential reactions with attention to your ongoing oncology treatment.

Gut and microbiome care
We assess digestive symptoms, nutritional tolerance, and changes following treatment. Recommendations may include dietary guidance and selected microbiome interventions.

Rebyota® is reserved for its specific approved indication: preventing recurrent C. diff in eligible adults after antibiotic treatment. Broader uses of fecal microbiota therapy remain investigational.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
OWM offers hard-shell hyperbaric oxygen therapy at 2.0 ATA. Its role is assessed according to the clinical indication, including whether an appropriate treatment-related tissue injury is present. It is not presented as a proven means of preventing cancer recurrence.

Human Regenerator sessions
Human Regenerator Jet Bed sessions may be considered within the broader OWM wellness experience. We distinguish the intended wellness experience from claims of tissue regeneration or cancer-related benefit.

Nutrition & Metabolic Care

Individualized dietary strategies
Our program may explore ketogenic nutrition or the ProLon® fasting-mimicking diet for suitable patients. We assess nutritional status, medications, and treatment history before considering restriction, with oncology input where appropriate.

These approaches are being researched in cancer care and should not be understood as established methods of starving cancer cells or maintaining remission.

Selected intravenous therapies
OWM’s described options include glutathione, alpha-lipoic acid, curcumin, EGCG, and Myers Cocktail infusions. We review each proposed preparation separately, including its clinical purpose, potential risks, and interactions with ongoing treatment.

The presence of antioxidant ingredients does not establish that an infusion repairs cellular membranes or prevents recurrence.

Mind-Body Resilience

Mindfulness and guided practice
Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Muse EEG-assisted meditation may help you develop a consistent practice around attention, relaxation, and coping. We focus on your experience and practical well-being rather than promising specific changes in stress hormones or inflammatory markers.

Cancer advocate support
Our cancer advocate provides a continuing point of contact for practical questions, lifestyle implementation, and coordination. Support is shaped around the realities of your recovery and the recommendations of your medical teams.

Your Care Experience

We begin with a review of your cancer history, current follow-up plan, symptoms, and priorities. Together, we identify which elements of the program are appropriate and establish clear next steps.

Your plan evolves through ongoing review. The aim is to support recovery and long-term well-being while preserving the central role of oncology surveillance; no supportive protocol can guarantee continued remission.
