IV Nutrient Support for Cognition

Intravenous nutrient support for cognition is part of our individualized approach to brain health at OWM Integrative Wellness. We offer selected infusions for patients experiencing mental fatigue, difficulty concentrating, or changes in their sense of well-being, with recommendations guided by their symptoms, nutritional needs, and medical history.

IV administration delivers nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing digestive absorption. We consider its role within a broader care plan that addresses sleep, nutrition, stress, and other factors influencing cognitive health.

Nutrient Infusions

Brain Fit IV
Our Brain Fit infusion combines minerals, vitamin C, B vitamins, and selected amino acids within a personalized cognitive wellness plan. We assess nutritional status and possible contributors to mental fatigue before recommending a formulation.

Brain Health Chill Out IV
Our Chill Out formulation includes vitamin C, minerals, B vitamins, leucovorin, and selected amino acids. We may incorporate it into care for patients experiencing stress and mental fatigue, alongside guidance for sleep, emotional well-being, and daily recovery.

Phosphatidylcholine IV
Phosphatidylcholine is a component of cell membranes that contributes to normal cellular structure and function. We consider its inclusion in selected infusion plans, sometimes alongside Brain Fit or Chill Out, according to the clinical assessment.

EGCG, Spermidine & CoQ10
Our protocols may also include compounds studied for their roles in cellular maintenance and energy metabolism:

  • EGCG, a green tea polyphenol investigated for its antioxidant activity and effects on cellular signaling.
  • Spermidine, a compound involved in autophagy, the process through which cells recycle internal components.
  • CoQ10, a cofactor involved in mitochondrial energy production and antioxidant activity.

These biological roles provide a basis for research, while evidence that intravenous administration improves cognition remains limited.

Additional Therapies

IV NAD+
Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, or NAD+, participates in cellular energy metabolism and repair processes. We may consider it within selected protocols after reviewing your health history, treatment goals, and the available evidence for its proposed use.

Methylene Blue IV
Methylene blue influences cellular oxidation and mitochondrial pathways, although its use for cognitive enhancement remains investigational. Assessment includes medication review and appropriate screening because it can interact with serotonergic medications and cause serious complications in people with G6PD deficiency.

Cerebrolysin & CBD Preparations
Selected protocols may include consideration of Cerebrolysin or a CBD complex. We review these preparations individually, including their intended role, formulation, potential interactions, and regulatory status. Cerebrolysin is not FDA-approved in the United States.

Related Cognitive Health Injections

Brain Sharpener Shot
Our Brain Sharpener Shot is an intramuscular formulation containing NAD, B-complex vitamins, folinic acid, taurine, procaine, and glutathione. We determine suitability through a review of your medical history and the proposed ingredients.

Subcutaneous NAD
Subcutaneous NAD provides an alternative administration route within selected wellness plans. Our team explains the proposed dosing, monitoring, and evidence before treatment.

The Brain Spa Experience

The Brain Spa brings together infusion care and guided relaxation in a comfortable setting. Depending on your selected protocol, the experience may include:

  • A Brain Fit infusion containing selected vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and glutathione
  • Virtual reality-guided meditation
  • An organic cacao beverage with reishi, lion’s mane, and cordyceps
  • An anti-gravity chair with Normatec leg compression sleeves

We select infusion ingredients and additions according to your clinical needs, while the surrounding experience provides time for rest and relaxation.

Complementary Technology

Weber Endo Laser Photobiomodulation
Selected protocols may incorporate low-level light delivered through an intravenous fiberoptic catheter alongside an infusion. We explain the proposed wavelengths and their intended role during consultation, including the limited evidence for cognitive benefits from this combined approach.

ViewMind Cognitive Assessment
ViewMind measures eye-tracking responses during structured cognitive tasks to assess aspects of attention, memory, and executive function. We may use the results to establish a baseline and inform follow-up, interpreting findings alongside your symptoms and broader medical assessment.

Personalized Planning & Follow-Up

Our evaluation considers nutritional deficiencies, sleep quality, medication effects, stress, hormonal changes, and other potential contributors to cognitive symptoms. Your plan may combine infusion care with nutrition guidance, movement, psychological support, or further medical evaluation.

The cognitive benefits of these formulations vary, and they are not established treatments for dementia or neurodegenerative disease. Before proceeding, we discuss the proposed ingredients, available evidence, potential risks, and alternatives, with follow-up focused on your symptoms and daily function.
