Preventative Diagnostics

Preventative diagnostics bring together selected imaging, laboratory testing, and functional assessments to establish a clearer picture of your health. At OWM Integrative Wellness, we use these findings to evaluate risk factors, establish meaningful baselines, and develop individualized plans for preventive care and long-term wellness.

Our approach considers your medical history, current symptoms, family history, and health goals, with testing selected according to its relevance to your care.

Imaging & Cancer Screening

SonoCiné Automated Whole Breast Ultrasound
SonoCiné uses robot-assisted ultrasound to capture detailed images throughout the breast without radiation or intravenous contrast. We offer it as supplemental imaging, particularly for patients with dense breast tissue or implants, where mammography can be more difficult to interpret. SonoCiné complements mammography rather than replacing it.

Prenuvo Whole-Body MRI
Prenuvo provides whole-body MRI imaging without ionizing radiation or intravenous contrast, allowing assessment of major organ systems for certain structural abnormalities. We review findings in the context of your health history and coordinate additional evaluation when appropriate, while maintaining recommended screening such as mammography and colonoscopy.

DATAR Liquid Biopsy
We incorporate selected DATAR cancer-related blood testing when appropriate to the clinical question. Its role depends on the specific assay, your diagnosis, and your existing surveillance plan, with findings interpreted alongside imaging and other medical assessments.

Cognitive & Neurological Assessments

ViewMind Cognitive Assessment
ViewMind uses a headset and eye-tracking technology to measure responses during structured cognitive tasks. The assessment provides information about attention, memory, processing, and executive function, helping us establish a baseline and evaluate changes over time.

CNS Vital Signs
CNS Vital Signs is a computerized neurocognitive assessment that evaluates areas such as memory, processing speed, and attention. We use the results alongside your symptoms and medical history to guide further evaluation and individualized cognitive health support.

Genetics & Biological Age

Nutrition Genome DNA Testing
Nutrition Genome examines genetic variants associated with nutrient metabolism and other biological pathways. We consider these findings alongside your diet, laboratory results, and health history when developing nutrition and supplement recommendations.

Biological Clock Testing
Biological clock testing uses DNA methylation patterns to estimate biological age relative to chronological age. These results may provide an additional reference point for wellness monitoring, although changes in an age estimate do not independently establish improved health or increased longevity.

Metabolic & Cardiovascular Assessments

Resting Metabolic Rate Testing
RMR testing uses indirect calorimetry to estimate the energy your body uses at rest by measuring respiratory gases. Results help inform nutrition planning and provide insight into energy expenditure and fuel utilization under the testing conditions.

VO₂ Max Testing
VO₂ max testing measures oxygen uptake during exercise to assess cardiorespiratory fitness. We use this information to guide exercise recommendations and track changes in physical conditioning.

InBody Composition Assessment
InBody uses bioelectrical impedance to estimate muscle mass, body fat, and body water distribution. Repeated assessments under consistent conditions help us monitor body composition beyond changes in weight alone.

Cardiovascular Testing & Blood Pressure Monitoring
Our cardiovascular assessments may include lipid testing, selected inflammatory markers, and 24-hour blood pressure monitoring. Together, these findings help us evaluate vascular risk and identify blood pressure patterns that may be missed during an office visit.

Hormonal, Digestive & Environmental Assessments

DUTCH Hormone Testing
DUTCH testing measures selected hormone metabolites and cortisol patterns through timed urine samples. We interpret results within a broader clinical assessment, recognizing that hormone treatment decisions require consideration of symptoms, medical history, and appropriate additional testing.

Gut & Microbiome Analysis
Depending on your symptoms, we may recommend stool analysis, SIBO breath testing, or testing for H. pylori. Each assessment addresses a different clinical question, helping us investigate digestive dysfunction and develop a targeted treatment plan.

CIRS & Environmental Exposure Evaluation
For patients with concerns related to mold or water-damaged buildings, we review exposure history, symptoms, and other possible explanations for illness. Selected evaluations may include GENIE gene-expression testing and MARCoNS nasal swab testing, with results interpreted in context rather than used alone to establish an environmental diagnosis.

An Individualized Plan

Many of these assessments are available through our Optimal Life Annual Membership, providing a structured framework for baseline evaluation, clinical review, and ongoing health monitoring.

We translate relevant findings into practical recommendations for nutrition, movement, sleep, treatment, and follow-up, selecting repeat testing when it can meaningfully inform your care.
