How ViewMind Works
Eye movements and pupil responses are connected to the brain networks involved in attention, memory, and information processing. ViewMind records these responses while you complete visual exercises through a headset.
The system analyzes patterns such as the timing of rapid eye movements, known as saccades, alongside your task performance. These measurements provide a structured cognitive profile that we interpret within your broader clinical assessment.
Cognitive Domains Evaluated
Depending on the assessment protocol, your profile may include:
- Processing speed: How efficiently you respond to and work with information.
- Executive function: Skills involved in planning, managing responses, and directing attention.
- Working memory: The ability to hold and use information during a task.
- Selective and sustained attention: How you focus on relevant information and maintain that focus.
- Spatial perception: How you interpret visual relationships and positions.
Together, these findings offer a reference point for understanding your performance and assessing changes over time.
The Assessment Experience
Wear the Headset
You sit comfortably while our team positions the headset and explains the visual exercises. We check that you can see the display clearly and understand the instructions before beginning.
Complete the Visual Tasks
As you follow the exercises, the device records eye movements and related responses. The assessment requires no needles or radiation, and you can generally return to your usual activities afterward.
Review Your Cognitive Profile
We review your report alongside your symptoms, medical history, and goals. Sleep, stress, medications, and visual difficulties can influence performance, making clinical interpretation an important part of the process.
Who May Consider ViewMind?
We may consider the assessment for:
- Patients experiencing brain fog or persistent cognitive concerns following COVID-19.
- Adults seeking a baseline for ongoing cognitive health monitoring.
- Students and professionals with concerns about attention, memory, or mental performance.
- Individuals undergoing a broader evaluation for neurological symptoms.
- Patients establishing a baseline before a proposed brain health intervention.
ViewMind measures cognitive function; it does not independently diagnose a neurological disease or identify the cause of a change in performance. Findings may indicate a need for additional medical or neuropsychological evaluation.
How We Use Your Results
Your cognitive profile helps us identify areas that warrant further attention and develop recommendations suited to your needs. Our planning considers nutrition, sleep, movement, emotional health, medications, and relevant medical conditions.
Depending on the clinical assessment, related OWM options discussed may include:
IV Nutrient Support & Additional Infusions
Brain Fit, IV NAD+, phosphatidylcholine, and methylene blue may be considered individually, with a review of their intended role, evidence, and potential risks.
Therapeutic Technologies
Our broader offerings include 2.0 ATA hyperbaric oxygen therapy, photobiomodulation, and EBOO. Each requires a separate assessment of suitability; a ViewMind result alone does not establish an indication or predict benefit.
Mind-Body & Nervous System Support
Brain Spa, Muse EEG biofeedback, and ketamine-assisted psychotherapy may be discussed according to your symptoms and clinical needs, with psychological care coordinated when appropriate.
Monitoring Over Time
Repeat assessment may provide information about changes in cognitive performance. We consider the testing conditions and your overall clinical progress when interpreting results, rather than attributing a change to a particular treatment alone.
Our aim is to translate the assessment into clear next steps, whether that means practical lifestyle guidance, further evaluation, or an individualized care plan.
