OWM Yoga Downtown Opening for Therapeutic Intervention!

OWM Yoga Downtown Opening for Therapeutic Intervention!

Jun 3, 2020

Based on NYS phases we should be opening soon! We cannot wait to get back to your treatments!

We are anticipating the time when we will be able to reopen, and we cannot wait to get back to your treatments! The exact dates are not known at this time, and we’ll be in touch with you as soon as we have the dates.

We are picking up where we left off:

•If you had a therapeutic class pass that expired during this time we will extend it for you.

•If you feel you may need a consultation with Dr. Kaplan or a private session with Jessica before starting up classes again please let us know we are happy to schedule it for you.

•Jessica will briefly go over any new goals and/or conditions/injuries that may have pronounced themselves during our time apart. If you’d like speak privately with her before class please contact her at jessica@owmbuffalo.com

The New Responsible Way to Practice Together!

As we all start to return to some state of normalcy, we continue to be vigilant and follow the latest recommendation to prevent a resurgence of COVID 19 in our region.

Class Sizes and Scheduling:

•Thankfully we already keep very small class sizes. We will be keeping our maximum number of students per class at 5 people.

•That being said, please let us know in advance whether you will be attending, either by registering online or letting Jessica know so that we can make sure not to overbook.

In-room precautions and procedures:

We have always held cleanliness of our studio to the highest standard and now we are doing even more to ensure that we are keeping our students and staff healthy and safe

•Due to NYS guidelines and for your safety we will be requiring all students and instructors in the yoga studio to wear masks during the duration of our practice.

•We will still provide props to students but we do encourage you bring your own if you have them.

•Hands on assists will be provided only to students who give consent and instructors will use hand sanitizer throughout the class.

•All surfaces, will be treated with hydrogen peroxide at the end of each class. Ambient ozone machines are run at the end of each day to sterilize all props and surfaces in the clinic.

All future appointments should be booked prior to leaving to secure your times.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding these policies or anything else, please reach out to our Therapeutic Yoga Director

Jessica – jessica@owmbuffalo.com

We hope that everyone is staying healthy and well. With nicer weather approaching we want to remind everyone to keep moving, practice safe distancing, and wash your hands! We look forward to seeing you all very soon!
