What to know before you go

Injuries older then six months and degenerative joint conditions that develop and progress slowly are not recognized by the body as injuries and there is no attempt by the body to heal them.

Dr. Kaplan uses a comprehensive Hackett and Hamwell technique to optimize the entire tensegrity (structural integrity) of the joint. Injections use a natural dextrose solution that stimulates the body’s immune system to recognize the injured area and then is stimulated to repair it naturally.

Treatment

We use a Hackett and Hamwell technique for the treatment of the entire joint and supporting ligament and tendon attachments. This was both the internal structures and external ones that provide support and stability are addressed. All procedures are done under ultrasound guidance. All injections are placed based on an ultrasound evaluation and localization of the damaged regions.
