Board Certified Naturopathic DoctorKim Howes, ND, is a board-certified and licensed Naturopathic Doctor at OWM Integrative Wellness in Buffalo, New York, where her patients have access to her naturopathic medical training and commitment to patient-centered health care.
In 2004 Dr. Kim received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Michigan University. In 2007 she obtained an Acupressure and Massage Certification from Blue Heron Academy and in 2012 she completed her Pre-Medicine Prerequisites at Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She is a member of the International Lyme and Associated Diseases Society (ilads.org), the leading international medical society devoted to the treatment of Lyme and Associated tick-borne diseases with evidence-based medicine.
Dr. Kim is a graduate of the National University of Natural Medicine (NUMN) in Portland, Oregon. From 2016 to 2017, she worked in a Student Doctor Rotation at Pacific University Clinic in Hillsboro, Oregon, and at NUNM Community Clinics in Portland.
Before owning her practice, Dr. Kim gained experience as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) from her work at Healing Hut Clinic in Boise, Idaho, where she delivered patient primary care and preventive medicine. She is a chronic illness expert, specializing in gut health, hormone health, Lyme Disease, Mold and Water-damaged building toxin illness. She utilizes botanical, nutritional, lifestyle and homeopathic medicine to treat disease and help our clients achieve wellness and metabolic balance.
Dr. Kim provides adjunct health care in collaboration with Dr. Leonard Kaplan to treat clients. She also serves as a Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy specialist.
