tenex

OWM Integrative Wellness is uniquely positioned to offer the Tenex Health TX™ procedure as its success is based on the expert use of ultrasonography. OWM’s founder, Dr. Leonard Kaplan, is considered an expert ultrasonographer in the Western New York region and beyond.

Tenex Health TX™ is based on advanced technology developed in collaboration with the world-renowned Mayo Clinic. Tenex Health TX™ combines ultrasound imaging that specifically targets damaged tissue with the advanced TX MicroTip™ which precisely breaks down and removes only the damaged tissue that causes pain. This procedure is not surgery and is performed in an office setting. Its ability to quickly remove scar tissue and calcium makes it a perfect replacement for surgical procedures that typically carry a 30% success rate with significant post-procedure pain and months of recovery.

The Experience

This procedure offers quick pain relief and a rapid return to normal activities. There are no sutures.

TENEX™ needle tool is guided into the damaged area under ultrasound. The tool is activated by a compressor that creates rapid vibration of the needle and propels a high-pressure jet of water in the treatment area that is then suctioned out. The result is that the scar tissue is broken up gently with vibration and water and removed from the region through suction.
